A lot of people ask me how I manage to work on so many books at the same time. Currently, I am writing five stories, which are all available on my Wattpad profile, RosannaMI
I try to update them weekly, although two of them are side projects (Me, My Girls and Booze and In The Darkness Lives A Nightmare) .
Those of you who have read or are reading my stories must have noticed by now that every chapter has a music video at the bottom of the page. It usually is related to the chapter, and sometimes it’s important, and sometimes it’s only for fun.
I also have all my books’ playlists on my Spotify profile.
The thing is that those songs are essential for me when I am writing a new chapter, especially when I am transitioning from one book to another. Like every book has a specific song that helps me to get into the characters’ heads and dive into their worlds.
It works like Let It Go, from the movie Frozen. When you listen to that song, you immediately connect it to the Disney movie.
My books and their songs work the same way.
These are the songs that I consider the most important to each one of my books:
Caught Between Our Worlds – new adult romance and drama with mature content
Caught Between The Two Of Us – Adult romance and drama with mature content
What Now, Lily? – New Adult romantic comedy with mature content
The Handsome Heir of Stream Sparks – New Adult romantic comedy with mature content
Kingdom Wreigh – Mikaela and Her Adventures – New Adult fantasy, romance and drama with mature content
The Galphienne Mage – Mikaela and Her Adventures – New Adult fantasy, romance and drama with mature content
BFFs Until Life Do Us Apart – New Adult romance and drama with mature content
Me, My Girls and Booze – Adult romantic comedy with mature content
In The Darkness Lives A Nightmare – Psychological horror story with mature content
As you can see, they are very different from each other and they are the responsible songs in helping me to write and live the stories. Sometimes I need to take a one-day-break to clear my head and start writing a new chapter from a different book, but sometimes all I have to do is to listen to the respective songs, and I am able to dive right into the plot.
I’m still an amateur writer, but I still felt like sharing this with you and answering the readers’ question.
How do you manage to write more than one book at once? Let me know in the comments below.
Do you have questions? DM on my Wattpad profile and I’ll be happy to answer them. 🙂
Thank you so much for reading, and stay safe!
