My husband and I adopted another cat! YEI! It’s a female tortoiseshell kitten! She’s currently six weeks old, and her name is Tapioca! I know, she’s still a baby, and she should be with her cat mom, but unfortunately, Tapioca was found alone and almost dead on the side of the road. A lovely lady took the kitty to her house and took care of her. The nice lady took her to the vet, and when she was healthy again, I adopted her! I actually saw her picture at facebook, in a group named Japan Cat Network . It was love at first sight! I immediately contacted the nice lady and told her that I was interested in adopting the kitten! I filled the questionnaire, and everything worked out! I paid ¥14,000 of the adoption fee, and now, Tapioca is living happily with her big brother Torresmo, my husband and I!
She’s so freaking cute, guys! And she is a little monster! She doesn’t stop eating! I’m controlling her food, but she keeps eating Torresmo’s food! Now, I’m hiding it in a place where she can’t reach! And she is a cuddler! She loves to sleep on my lap, and she is always purring! My male cat adopted her, and they are doing great together! 🙂
If you guys wanna help me to feed these two furballs, please, buy my book! 😀
I’m going to try to record her on video so I can properly introduce her to you! 😉
I mix them and give to her three times a day! To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of the Kal Kan dry food, but I decided to give it to her because it was what she was eating before I adopted her. I didn’t want to change her food because I didn’t know if she was going to eat it if I gave her another type of dry food. But when Kal Kan is over, I’ll give her another meal, like Purina One! The good thing is she’s already drinking water by herself, and the consistency of her poo is perfect! 🙂
If you have a kitten and you’re not sure what kind of food to give to it, make sure to buy food with this kanji: 子猫 or 子ねこ, which means kitten!
My male cat is currently one year and ten months old! He’s a big boy! He is a little frisky to eat, and he gets tired of eating the same food very fast! So I’m always changing his dry and wet food! These are the current that he’s eating:
Yeah, I know. He’s extremely spoiled! The funny thing is that he loves green vegetables, especially lettuce! And he is not a fan of meat, like chicken and cow meat! He doesn’t eat them! He loves fish, though!
The kitten eat anything and everything! :O
Anyway, if you have any questions about my cats, feel free to ask me! I will write a particular post with videos of their toilets, toys, beds and scratching posts! I’m going to start recording videos so I can show you about our lives here, in Japan! 😉
Anyway, have a great Wednesday!
I'm a Brazilian crazy cat lady, book lover and gamer who loves to write, listen to music and doesn't know how to cook! All of those plus living in Japan for the last fifteen years. :)
Welcome to my life!
