Love Cuts: Descendants of the Sun

Posted by

I’ve been reading books and all kinds of stories since I learned how to read and write my very first words. What fascinates me the most about stories is that they make me dream and get away from my real life for a while. The passion of what they are trying to tell to the readers, the fantastic characters and plot that make us laugh, cry and dream.
Years ago, I discovered a game where you can choose the stories’ paths. It’s a book, but a book that you can control what is going to happen, especially when it comes to the main MC’s love life. That’s when I read my favourite story ever for the very first time. Love Cuts: Descendants of the Sun is a love story, an otome story to be more specific, about two doctors and an army man. The MC, Daniel and Si-Jin are among the war, dealing with violence, fear, hunger, but also dealing with love, friendship and family. The MC is torn between Daniel and Si-jin, and she gets to choose between the two of them. What I’m about to tell you next, is the most sincere thing that I’ve already said here: THIS STORY IS MY NUMBER ONE, MY FAVOURITE OF ALL TIMES, IT’S THE STORY THAT KEPT ME AWAKE FOR MONTHS THINKING ABOUT THE WAY IT ENDS AND MAKING ME GET IN TOUCH WITH THE AUTHOR TO TALK ABOUT IT. I swear, I couldn’t sleep at night because I wouldn’t stop thinking about the end. I played the story so many times so far, choosing every single option to see what happens, to know every path, every dialogue, every character. I was literally obsessed with it. I cried and laughed while playing it. The characters are so impressive that I wished they were real! For the first time, I didn’t know which love interest I wanted to choose, because both Daniel and Si-jin are so, so sweet! I wanted them both!
Love Cuts is an otome game published by the company Hanabi Media Ltd.
All of the otome stories that were published by Hanabi Media are simply amazing, and they are entirely free! All of the options are also free! You just have to watch some ads between the chapters, but they are 5 seconds ads, and they are totally worth it!
You can check the fantastic author of Love Cuts through Tumblr,  and through Instagram.
You should also check the otome games Love Magic and Love Magic 2, which were written by the same author and published by the same company game.

Believe me, the story is so freaking beautiful and full of feelings that is a “must read”!
My next post is going to be about my second favourite story ever, and surprise! It is also an otome story published by Hanabi Media! And yes, let’s start a petition so we can have a part 2 of Love Cuts! Please, read the story and you’ll understand why I’m saying this! 😉
P.S. Definition of OTOME according to Wikipedia: “An otome game (乙女ゲーム otome gēmu, literally “maiden game”), sometimes contracted to otoge, is a story-based video game that is targeted towards women. Generally one of the goals, besides the main plot goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player character and one of several male characters.”
P.S.2:In Love Cuts, I ended up choosing Daniel, and in Magic Love 1 and 2, I chose Minuet. 😉
See you soon with Love Ghost! 🙂
